Some one please step up and convince the Aurora guys to market/sell their receiver in the US. The hobby is growing here, and the competition would be great for the hobby.
Better not the last time i mentioned such a device on a forum with mostly us members, they jumpt right up and screaming paraniod that's a tool for terrorist purpose

I?m incredibly surprised that the UK Gov hasn?t outlawed them yet (as they seem to do with so many other things, citing security/anti-terrorism as the reason). I got into some (potentially serious) trouble 4 or 5 years ago with NATS because I streamed audio from London?s Heathrow and Gatwick airports live on my website ? I used a couple of scanners and fed the outputs to my website. The threats ranged from seizure of equipment to prison. My MP and Downing Street regarded my streaming as a serious risk to security, as the audio could be of use to terrorists, and couldn?t be convinced otherwise. Interestingly though, the Head of Comms at NATS thought I was doing a great job and supported me to the point of inviting me to a regular joint-meeting with Ofcom to put my case, but he was told (by Ofcom) that this was none of his business (he?s the Head of Communications at NATS!!!) and my ?invitation? was withdrawn. Things haven?t changed?.well actually they have ? the UK?s become an even BIGGER Ass regarding anti-terrorist legislation. So, just keep this thread quiet ? I so much want an Aurora VR box! Brian

Its going the same way overhere in the netherlands, they think they have something importend to hide. When i was making a outline of airfields i noticed that some airfields completely blocktout in google earth. if they where scared of terrorrist acts then it would be stupid to blockout these things now you know there must be something importend on that location, its like putting a roadsign to the correct location.
look the 1 pic taken from googl earth and then look @ pic 2 the same airfield only taken from the map they provide with the online foon book (how stupid can the be)

We have had many requests from people wanting to pre-order the Virtual Radar before its public release, therefore we will be adding a facility to our website shortly which will enable anyone to reserve one our receivers (This is without commitment or pre-payment).
Has anyone found this yet? Brian

Any update yet? I appreciate this week doesn't end until 23.59 tomorrow but I have seen some posts on another forum claiming the Aurora is a hoax?

Hi Michael, I wonder if anyone has been notified of a "reservation" for your Aurora Eurotech product after clicking on your reservation option, or do I just accept that I am on the list? It is quite some number of days since I clicked to make a reservation but have not heard anything from you. Very best regards from KeithW.

Hi Keith Yes we reply to all reservations, unfortunately we have had a number of reservations with an invalid return email address. Send me a PM or contact us on support@auroraeurotech.com and we will look into your reservation. Regards Michael Waddicor Aurora Eurotech
