Hello

here you can see a very easy analog experimental decoder.

http://xavier.fenard.free.fr/fxad.htm  (sorry in french)

the decoder used a digital tuner IQ and use only 2 LM319 for analog and the avr to decode.

On a digital satellite receiver, only pick up I and Q on the tuner and plug a 1090 MHZ antenna.
 
I open the topic for people who want to try and give informations  where to pick up I Q on  receiver.

OK, I agree the bit decoder seems to be easy...

Now make the Mode-S decoder :-)  Turn the 56 and 112 bits into something usefull.

It's not hard, it just takes a lot of time.

Hello
now a schematic a PCB and a FTA that can work for FTA or ADS-B.
very easy to built (only 2 wires Q and I to pick up) and no modification with the Version 2.
May work on many fta... report the fta, the chip, the tuner
