New Rule.

A new Rule has been added:

No Trojan Horses
We will not tolerate posts that promote or support a particular product from members posing as existing or potential customers.  Employees or associates of suppliers and/or distributors of ModeS receivers MUST declare their association in their forum signatures.  Any member suspected of having an undeclared association may be gagged and any posts removed.

If this affects you, please amend you Forum signature.  Profile->Modify Profile->Forum Profile Information and scroll down to Signature.

Definition of "association" and "associate" in this context.  Does a beta tester count as an "associate"?

Yes, a beta tester count's as an associate.  It also adds value to the relevant posts.

That probably includes every Radarbox owner involved in the public beta test program then.

We need transparency.  Plus, I doubt all of them are members here.  How many are there?

When will this rule be enforced.  I've updated my signature, but others who are known associates haven't declared this on their signature.
Thank you tarbat.

Since it is a Sunday maybe they have other things to do.

It will be enforced.
