I am encountering problems when I attempt to un-instal programs using the procedures within control panel.
One,Teamviewer 3,tells me that this program may already be un-installed which it certainly is not and the second,a redundant broadband modem software program will proceed no further than the un-instal wizard.
I have an erase program on my computer,is it practical to use this?
The OS is Vista Home.
TIA for any advice.
Regards-
Gunner

Hi

sounds to me that some of the files for these programmes you quote
have been deleted via Windows explorer
that would generate a like error message

i would re-install the offending programmes
then run uninstall via control panel

that should clear them out

May I bring this thread to a conclusion by reporting that the two applications mention have now been uninstalled successfully.
Teamviewer 3 was removed automatically when I updated to Version 5 and the broadband modem software was eventually removed by the Windows uninstal feature being done whilst the computer was in Safe Mode.
