Hi all,

I am a new forum user though I've been lurking now and then.  But when a friend told me about PP, the interest in ADS-B monitoring resurfaced once again (I bought my SBS1 back in 2005) and now I am looking forward to improve the quality of data (need an antenna on the roof) and the computer setup at home (need to finally hook up the SBS1 via ethernet).

I am a ham radio (callsign IK2OVV) and a pilot, and am also a big aficionado of all things ATC.  I've visited Milano ACC room many many times in the last 25 years, as I have many friends who worked there, and made new ones recently.

If you've never visited an ATC facility, try to hook up with the local unit and pay them a visit, it's well worth it!

Ciao a tutti!

Welcome Luca.
thanks Trev!  It's good to read your progress on getting the PPL!  Though it hurts me a little, as that brings my clock back to 1991, when I took my PPL...  Smiley

Keeping fingers crossed for your checkride!
