stergia,

I am not going to answer you further, your last posts on the RB forum and that fact you threatened to sue us because we said your post was silly speak for themselves.

a typical airnav support style answer, akbar sherwani, you have a lot to learn in terms of customer support young man.
go and learn from microsoft or symantec, they will bend over backwards to keep a customer happy and keep selling. i enjoy both my rb and sbs1 and i would like them better but it cannot be done.i do not have a mission as stated. you do realize that you sell because you have the monopoly of the market. the day another product will come you will change your behaviour or be out of the market. besides i enjoy baiting you Grin
ciao

I don`t know whether or not it is just me but I do find that this forum is,perhaps,a tad to confrontational for its own long term benefit Sad
Surely there is strife and resentment a plenty in the world today without adding to it on what is essentially a hobby platform.
I stress that these opinions are general and not intended as a criticism of anyone.
 Regards-
Gunner

You could be right Gunner and, in time, the membership will decide.

However, when Airnav continually deletes and locks posts and bans its own members, some will feel they've been treated unfairly and will turn to us to air their grievances?

This is an independent forum with twice as many SBS users than AirNav but with hardly any Kinetic/ML&S issues.

Perhaps if AirNav managed its forum differently, the posts here would be less confrontational?

i am very sorry to have used this forum as a "free speach zone".
after all the things i have endured in the airnav forum i just had to make my voice heard with akbar. it will not happen again. it would not have been possible in the airnav forum as my posts get edited, cancelled suspended, scolded etc when not in line with airnav's manner of thinking. i would participate more in this forum but not being the official assistance forum i limit myself in order to not disturb too much with silly questions. i am an illiterate when it comes to computer and radio problems, i am not a ham as i did not pass my exams and i only use my pc for work with an easy to use custom made program. i really do enjoy both my rb and my sbs with all their limits and i do not like making trouble but i do object being trodden on, like almost everyone i think.
that is my limit and sometimes i ask a question that is regarded as silly, i asked one today and got the usual answer which i will link to when i edit the message. here's the link if you are curious; http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=3743.0
again thanks to everyone and sorry for the trouble
ciao

Give us a break.  You asked a question, I provided you a link to a previous discussion about the topic, and suggested that people search for the answer before asking the same old question.  That's normal forum etiquette - search for the answer first BEFORE you ask a question.  Never said your question was "silly".

It's OK Frank, an apology isn't required.

We're all different, having skills, experiences and languages that others don't necessarily share.  Asking "dumb" questions is allowed here and I promise not to scold you for not knowing something that's been explained before.

What little I know about Basestation, and now RadarBox, has been gained from both personal experience but mostly from the many helpful suggestions and experiences shared on the three main forums.

Maybe like you, whenever I post on the AirNav forum I expect a small number of "regular" members to take a pot shot and accuse me of causing aggro.  Yet if someone else had posted the exact same message I doubt they'd get a similar response.  As I keep telling Akzah "Read all my posts".

You're always welcome here, as is anyone who has an interest in radar spotting and that includes asking Silly questions.  We don't expect members to read every message that's ever been posted before asking.

Best not to mention the word "silly" tarbat. He will get his lawyers together Smiley

Stergia support on the forum is there to help you and that what it does. However in your case your posts have either been very aggressive (whether that's because of English is not your first language) or if someone doesn't reply exactly the way you want them too you over react. You have been told this by not only Support but other members of the forum so its not just we are against you.

Feel free to ask questions on the forum and they will be answered properly but if you start to cause offence and be aggressive do not get upset when it comes back to you. Your antics about threatening to sue us will not be forgotten easily by our team and you have only yourself to blame for that.
