By reading this you may have missed the new Virgin 380 flying over your house

I think we all missed that one :-)

Definitely and conclusively not associated in any way, shape or form with AirNav or Kinetic.

What's all this rubbish about "evidence" that appears to be going on in locked threads on the Bonkers forum?  They seem to be posting screenshots (which may or may not be out of context) as "evidence" of something  or other, then promptly locking the thread so you can't comment.  A sort of kangaroo court.  I always thought that where "evidence" was concerned, the parties concerned had a right to the opportunity to defend and/or refute it.  Very strange.

I sincerely hope someone produces an alternative bit of kit to theirs (other than Kinetic), then I can get shot of my RB because the whole shebang is really not worth the bother any more.  It's complete madness, in my opinion.  If less time was spent in fighting their corner and more time devoted to perfecting their product, they (and we) would all be a happier bunch.

What has any of this got to do with this sub-forums topic of Technical Matters > Airnav Radarbox?  Any chance that we keep this sub-forum for what it was intended.

EDIT:  Moved, thankyou.

Do you mean this one?

http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=2984.0

That company is run very strangely indeed.

It likes to be the victim, police, public prosecutor, judge and jury.

I've participated in numerous legal battles in my time and, yes, evidence has to be made available to both parties and presented in a neutral environment for independent judgement.

What AirNav presents is a very selective sub-set that supports it's claims and never lets the other side get a word in.  I saw the exchange of emails between Andre Brandao and Hamish and I would be more than happy to present them in a Court of Law.  Personally, I would avoid getting into a bun fight with AirNav here or anywhere else when Brandao can't be hauled in when he steps out of line.

On a more positive note, he scored a brilliant own goal when he started his antics over on the Radioference website last evening:

Maybe we need a new thread, seriously:

AirNav's Silly Antics

....and move all the relevant messages there.

By the way, Uniden, maybe you should categorically state that you have no beneficial relationship with AirNav, just so no one thinks otherwise?

And the other point to note is that AirNav goes on the offensive against Radarspotters, not the otherway around.  These posts are forced on us by the silly antics.  AirNav is hell bent to discredit this Forum and one must ask why?

I have no relationship, beneficial or otherwise, with Airnav, or Kientic.  I use both their products (SBS-1 and Radarbox), so I guess I rely on support from both companies, but thats it.  I've already stated elsewhere that I think both companies have their faults.

It's not just us, then, Mike!

Looking at that forum, it seems the contributors are just as pissed off with AB as we (and everyone else) appears to be, yet he won't give it a rest, he's still at it today.  I really do think that Kinetic ought to take out some sort of restraining action, the man's off his head.

Thanks Uniden, members and guests can now see that your views are impartial, whatever they may be.

Much appreciated.

Can we have a new, dedicated thread for these posts?  If you leave them here they lose value and Andy Brandy will accuse us of hiding them, as he did on Radioference yesterday.

Dirkou (aka Andre Brandao?) has been up to his old tricks, this time on the RadioReference forum.

Since AirNav has openly gone out of its way to trash Radarspotters, it's good to see that it doesn't always work in its favour:

Thank you RadioReference for impartiality and commonsense.
