Early in 2009 I purchased an Airnav Radarbox and naturally became a member of their forum.
I was and still am happy with my box but I became alarmed with the attitude of the Airnav support staff.
The way they treated their customers online, was for me, beyond belief, banning customers from the forum
depriving them of support for a very expensive product is hardly the way to conduct business.

So I decided to start this forum in March 2009 as an independent platform for users of both systems.
Airnav claim that Radarspotters is, "totally run by SBS-1 users" and is associated with Kinetic Avionics and ML&S, this is not the case.
This forum is not and never has been anti Airnav, they have been making posts on other forums on the
net stating that we are not independent.

Airnav, who would love to see this forum disappear, have only themselves to blame for its birth, had they
treated their customers with more respect this site would never have been born.

There are new allegations circulating that Radarspotters is controlled by Kinetic and ML&S.

Once again, and to keep the record straight, we can categorically state that Radarspotters is a totally independent forum, run by SBS-1 and RadarBox customers for the benefit of the virtual radar community.  It is funded solely by individual donations and advertising.

From time-to-time we run competitions and clearly state who is sponsoring the prizes.

Unless someone can provide irrefutable evidence that Radarspotters is in anyway controlled by a manufacturer or dealer, please ignore these totally false and irresponsible rumours and allegations.

And maybe ask yourselves why they are being made?

Thread locked.
