I pottered off to Old Sarum this morning with the box to see the two RAF DA-42s that arrived yesterday evening from Wiener-Neustadt as Ascot 3776/8.  I assumed that they may be new ones but they turned out to be ZA179 (ex G-DOSA) and ZA180 (ex G-DOSB).

They soon departed on a photo shoot - there was no observer in the back seat - with G-DOSC which departed Boscombe Down and formated with the other two using camera ship G-DPEP an Aero AT-3. When they eventually switched their transponders on before the DA-42s recovered to Boscombe Down, they showed

G-DOSA/ZA179 code 43C5BA with ZA179 in callsign field......this code should be Alphajet ZJ645 which was flying last week as Gauntlet11
G-DOSB/ZA180 code 43C5B9 with GDOSC in callsign field
G-DOSC code 4403F0 (OE-FOG) with GDOSC in callsign field.....which should be 405EC4
