Had x2 military types o/f Lancashire coast at over 30,000ft today(18th). W-E, IOM - PH not showing on SBS (could have been U-2s), followed a couple of minutes later by 87-0122 KC-10 c/s Blue 38 (showing on SBS)

Definitely not U2s Les....but there was US mil activity With Blue 38 [tanker ]  and Retro flight

There was  a KC-10 doing some work with Bae at Warton about 10 days ago 09-12-09. culminating with a low level fly past of 87-0123 (Ghost 51)accompanied by Typhoon ZJ700. I saw them banking over the marsh nr my home on the S side of the Ribble.
